Dr. Kubovich - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kubovich was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa where he attended East High School.  He then went on to Ames where he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University.  After living and working in Des Moines for a few years, Dr. Kubovich entered the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.  While studying dentistry, he was awarded a certificate of merit from the American Society of Dentistry for Children . The recipient of this award is selected by the faculty and given to the senior dental student who has shown proficiency and skill in the treatment of children.  Dr. Kubovich then completed an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry also at the University of Iowa.  Dr. Kubovich’s postdoctoral training focused on the growth and development of infants, children, and individuals with special needs. Dr. Kubovich is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, he is also the current President of the Des Moines District Dental Society.  Dr. Kubovich is also an active member of the Iowa Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.  His goal is to provide comprehensive dental care while building self-esteem and self-confidence in each child.   Dr. Kubovich enjoys spending time with his wife Shilo and daughters Kenzie, Zoe, and Jozie.  They like bike riding, going to the zoo and spending time outdoors.

Lisa Darby Lisa is a Registered Dental Assistant.  Her present position is working at the front desk.  Lisa and her husband Mark live in the country west of Des Moines where they both enjoy the outdoors and their full time hobby, horses.  She competes in the American Quarter Horse Association showing around the Midwest in a range of all around events as an amateur. In her free time she enjoys family, spending time with friends, and her church activities.

Lynn Dennis Lynn is a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant.  A graduate of Des Moines Area Community College, Lynn has been a Pediatric Assistant her entire career.  Lynn has one son, Will, who graduated from University of Iowa.  She enjoys jazz music, church and cooking.  Lynn is an active member to the Metro Arts Alliance, her church, and volunteers in her free time at the Women’s Homeless Shelter.

Savana Hough Savana is a Registered Dental Assistant with four years experience in the dental field. She currently works chair side assisting Dr. Kubovich. She enjoys working with kids, playing golf, and volleyball. She also enjoys spending time with her family, twin nephews, and husband Travis. Savana and Travis reside in Des Moines and have two spoiled Great Danes, Tank and Rambo.

Vicki Haley Vicki is the Office Manager for DMPDC. She is a Registered dental assistant with over 25 years in the dental field. Vicki resides in Ankeny with her husband Mike and their West Highland White Terrier, Jaxon. In her spare time she enjoys being in her flower garden, spending time with family and friends and weekends in the summer at Lake Okoboji.

Mystie Tyler Mystie is a Registered Dental Assistant.  She is currently working at the front desk part time.  Mystie and her husband Dustin are proud parents of twin boys born August 2006.  Mystie’s days are filled with keeping two active boys occupied and busy.  Mystie and Dustin have recently built a new home to accommodate their growing family.

Shannon Greco Shannon is a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant.  A graduate from Des Moines Area Community College.  Shannon has been in the dental field 10+ years.  Shannon currently works at the front desk full time.  Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 year old son. She enjoys vacationing, spending time outdoors, reading a great book and cheering on the Hawkeyes.

Kylie Veasman Kylie is a Registered Dental Assistant who works chair side with Dr. Kubovich. She was married on June 26, 2010 to Josh Veasman. Kylie enjoys spending time with her family, husband and friends. She also enjoys going out to dinner, watching movies and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
